Rouja Lazarova

Rouja Lazarova was born in Sofia (Bulgaria) in 1968. After receiving the prize Jeune Prose in 1990 for her short stories, she moved to Paris and began writing in French. She has since published four novels in her adopted tongue, Sur le bout de la langue (00h00, 1998), Coeurs Croisés (Flammarion, 2000), Frein (Balland, 2004) and Mausolée (Flammarion, 2009) as well as a number of short stories. Lazarova presently works as a freelance journalist.
