Maylis De Kerangal
Born in 1967, Maylis de Kerangal was an editor for Gallimard Jeunesse. She is the founder of Éditions du Baron perché. She is the author of three novels, Je marche sous un ciel de traîne(Verticales, 2000), La Vie voyageuse (Verticales, 2003) and Corniche Kennedy (Verticales, 2008) and of a collection of novellas: Ni fleurs ni couronnes (2006) of which one was made into a film. She has also published Dans les rapides (Naïve, 2007) and, in collaboration with Incultes, Une chic fille (Naïve, 2008). Finally, she participated, together with François Bégaudeau, Xavier de La Porte, Arno Bertinaet alii in the writing of Le sport par les gestes (Grasset, 2007).
