Lydie Salvayre
Lydie Salvayre spent her childhood near Toulouse. In parallel to her career as a psychiatrist, she started publishing short texts in literary revues. Since then she has published La Déclaration (Julliard, 1989), La Compagnie des spectres(Seuil, prix Novembre) and many other novels. In 2007 came out herPortrait de l'écrivain en animal domestique (Seuil). Several texts of Lydia Salvaire were adapted for theater or played as concert-readings.
