Luciana Grosu
Luciana Grosu (born in 1987), Bucharest, Romania, writes poetry since the age of 13 .She receives the Special Distinction for poetry at the Romanian National Contest Young Writers (2000), followed by the Special Prize of Exams Magazine for literary debut (2001). In 2002 ,she obtains the International First Prize at the International Contest « JE BOUQUINE » organised by BAYARD PRESS, FRANCE for French written literature.
She is also awarded the Special Jury’s Prize at the Romanian National Poetry Contest Nichita Stanescu and First Prize for Poetry at Romanian National Contest “Young Writers”. At the age of 17 she obtains Jury’s Prize for Creation at the Romanian National Creation Contest Mihai Eminescu, VI edition, (2005).
Luciana is the winner of the International Essay Contest for Young People 2006, organised by GOI Peace Foundation, on the theme "Learning to live together: promoting tolerance and diversity in globalized societies".
In 2008, Luciana Grosu is a finalist of the International Short Story Competition “A sea of words”, organized by the European Institute of the Mediterranean and Anna Lindh Foundation, followed by an invitation at the creative writing workshop Seminaire Residentiel de Creation litteraire “Une mer de mots” –La Societe Civile en Tunisie : Enjeux interculturels , Tunis, 2009.
In 2010, Luciana obtains the European Science Fiction Society Encouragement Prize for Literature 2010, EUROCON
