Blandine Longre
Blandine Longre is a writer and a literary translator. She has contributed poems to different literary magazines (The Zaporogue, 3:AM magazine, The Wolf, The Black Herald). Her poetry collection, Clarities, was published by Black Herald Press in September 2010. She is currently working on the translation of Paul Stubbs's poetry into French and is also the co-editor of The Black Herald, a partly bi-lingual literary journal. Her recent translations include Tabish Khair's novel The Bus Stopped (Picador - Apaiser la poussière, Éditions du Sonneur, Paris, 2010) and The Wizard of Oz books by L. F. Baum (Le Cherche-Midi, 2011). Forthcoming translation: Tabish Khair's latest novel The Thing about Thugs (HarperCollins, shortlisted for the Man Asian literary prize in 2011).
