Charlotte Mandell
Charlotte Mandell is an American literary translator who has translated over thirty books from French into English, including a number of critical works by Maurice Blanchot. Recently she has translated books by Marcel Proust, Jean-Luc Nancy, Mathias Enard and Jonathan Littell. She lives with her husband, the poet Robert Kelly, in the Hudson Valley (New York).
