Anne-Sylvie Homassel
Born in Paris, makes a living there as a translator from the English, a sometimes editor (for the small press Le Visage vert) and occasionnally writes fiction.Translated Max Beerbohm's Seven Men (as Sept Personnages), Kris Saknussemm's Private Midnight, L. Frank Baum Osma of Oz, Ernest Bramah's Max Carrados, Jim Shepard's Love and Hydrogen (and many other books). Published two novels in French (Au Bord d'un lent fleuve noir, Sommeil) and some short stories here (Le Visage vert) and there (Tartarus Press, PS Publishing, Black Herald Magazine). And still goes on.
