Margriet de Moor
Born in 1941 in Noordwijk, Netherlands. After a career of singer, Margriet de Moor started to write in 1988. Her highly praised first novel, Eerst grijs dan wit dan blauw(First grey, then white, then blue, 1990) won the AKO Literature Prize, for which De Virtuoos ( The Virtuoso, 1993) was also nominated. Her most recent novel, De kegelwerper (the Juggler), came out in 2006. Her work has been translated into more than 20 languages.
